The next round of vaccination appointment signups opens 9 a.m. April 1. Everyone 16 and older is now eligible in Cascade County, but those under 18 need their parent or guardian present. The city Park and Recreation Department will release waterfowl back into Gibson Pond at 10:30 a.m. April 2. The waterfowl spend the winter months in the Honker Hilton at the north end of Gibson Park and are fed by city staff daily and have an indoor pond. Once they are released into Gibson Pond, staff continues to feed them daily.

The city’s Easter Egg Hunt is back this year. The family friendly event starts at 11 a.m. April 3, but plan to arrive no later than 10:45 a.m. The hunt will feature more than 7,000 eggs filled with candy, coins and special prizes. On April 2, paid parking resumes in downtown Great Falls and there are new multi-space pay stations on Central Avenue from Park Drive to 8th Street.
