AAUW book sale starts Wednesday at Great Falls library

The Great Falls Branch of the American Association of University Women annual book sale kicks off at the Great Falls Public Library this week.
The pre-sale day is Oct. 17 from noon to 7 p.m. on the third floor of the library for a $2 change at checkout and $2 per book.
Search for new library director beginning
The regular sale days are Oct. 18 noon to 7 p.m.; Oct. 19 noon to 5 p.m.; Oct. 20 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Oct. 21 from 1-4 p.m.
Their auction ends Oct. 20.
Library boiler replacement project underway
Half-price sale days begin Oct. 24 from noon to 7 p.m.; Oct. 25 noon to 7 p.m.; and Oct. 26 from noon to 5 p.m.
The sack sale is Oct. 27 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The sack sale typically runs on a Sunday but since the library isn’t able to open for Sundays until December, it’s only one day this year.

The Great Falls branch of AAUW was established in 1914 and since 1959, the book sale has provided funds to support local AAUW projects, including college scholarships for women and library donations.
