Drool in the Pool is Aug. 29
Great Falls Park and Recreation Department, in partnership with the Great Falls Animal Shelter, is hosting the annual Drool in the Pool event on Aug. 29 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Electric City Waterpark, 100 River Drive S.
Water Tower Pool opening June 18; Jaycee Pool still closed
“The dog days of summer are going out with a splash. Drool in the Pool gives dogs one last chance to cool off, play, and enjoy the waterpark before the season comes to a close. This end-of-summer tradition is focused on four-legged fun, with pet-related vendors, activities, and educational booths featuring pet care resources,” according to a city release.
Admission
- $6 per dog
- $3 per person
- Cash and credit cards are accepted. Credit card purchases are subject to a 3 percent processing fee.
Vaccination Requirements
For the safety of all participants, dogs must have proof of current rabies, parvo, and distemper vaccinations in the form of a vaccination certificate from a licensed veterinarian.
Neighborhood pools opening delayed
Proof of vaccination may be presented in either paper or digital form at check-in.
Vendor Opportunities
Retail vendors, nonprofit organizations, rescue groups, and pet-related businesses are invited to participate.
