City water park closed for repair project July 29-30
The Electric City Water Park will be closed July 29-30 to repair a city water service line.
Park operations are planned to resume July 31.
The repair was unplanned and unrelated to the recent water main break in the Riverview area, City Manager Greg Doyon said.
The repair will require a lot of digging with heavy equipment across the park, Doyon said.

The city is also planning to install a splash pad where the baby pool is now and that project will also require some heavy equipment and demolition, but that project will not likely start until the end of the summer pool season, according to city staff.
