City seeking public input on CDBG, HOME annual action plan

The city is seeking public comment and participation for the proposed annual action plan for programs funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The city has to create an annual action plan to received Community Development Block Grant and Home Investment Partnerships Program funds from HUD.

City approves CDBG funds for water park pool lifts

The proposed plan is available at the Great Falls Public Library and the city planning office in the Civic Center during regular business hours.

The 30-day comment period begins July 5 and ends Aug. 5 and is open to any interested agencies, groups or persons.

City Commissioners will conduct a public needs hearing for HUD programs on July 16 during which residents, businesses and nonprofit organizations can identify needs or concerns to be considered for inclusion in the annual action plan.

City approves contract, CDBG funds for street reconstruction project

Eligible needs identified during the hearing and submitted comments will be included in the draft plan that will be presented to commissioners on Aug. 16 for review.
