Shelter hosting Barking Lot event April 27

The City of Great Falls Animal Shelter is hosting the Barking Lot event on April 27.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the shelter, 1010 25th Ave. N.E. and includes a yard sale fundraiser with an adoptable animal showcase.

The “new to you” sale includes a variety of pet-related items, from toys to accessories, with all proceeds directly benefiting the shelter’s mission to care for and rehome animals in need.

For those considering adopting a pet, the adoptable animal showcase provides an opportunity to view dogs and cats eagerly awaiting their forever homes.

Anyone who completes an adoption application during the Barking Lot event will receive a voucher for a free adoption (city license not included) redeemable from May 1-15.

“We’re excited to invite the community to come together in support of our shelter and the animals we care for,” Dallas Miller, shelter staffer, said in a release. “By attending this event, not only can you find great deals at our New to You sale, but you can also make a meaningful impact by providing a loving home to a pet in need.”
