City crews will pick up branches for city sanitation customers
The city is still working on cleanup after the weekend’s early winter storm.
For residents who use city sanitation services, sanitation will pick up tree branches for those customers.
The branches needed to be bundled in four foot lengths and not weigh more than 75 pounds, according to an update from the city.
“Our crew can only spend two minutes at each pile, so if a customer has a large pile it may take a few weeks to get it all picked up,” according to the city update.
If a customer has alley access they need to put the branches in the alley three to four feet away from the alley container, according to the city.
