Park and Rec responding to downed trees in Great Falls’ Boulevard District
The city division of Great Falls Park and Recreation is aware of the extensive damage caused by the storm, according to a release.
The division will only be responding to Boulevard District trees only, according to the release.
Trees located outside the Boulevard District are the responsibility of the property owners, according to Park and Rec.
Residents of the Boulevard District pay an additional assessment for the cost of maintaining, pruning, spraying and otherwise caring for trees in the district.

Residents of the Boulevard District with hanging tree limbs or other tree related items that pose a safety issue can call Park and Rec at 771-1265.
“After all the safety concerns have been handled, staff will be systematically going through the entire Boulevard District picking up downed branches,” according to Park and Rec.
According to the National Weather Service, recorded snowfalls ranged from 12 inches to 19.3 inches in the Great Falls area.
