Concert series returns to downtown Great Falls

Downtown Summer Jam is returning to Great Falls this summer.
The Mighty Mo Brewing Company, Fat Tuesday’s and Enbär are continuing the summer concert series and launching the Fourth of July Hootenanny with Granger Smith.
The Summer Jam series will again be a three-day musical event June through August.
During the concert series, the stage is set up at the corner of Central Avenue and 5th Street.
Smith will perform during a free concert at the new Fourth of July Hootenanny, immediately following the annual parade downtown.
Downtown Summer jam kicks off June 19 with Logan Mize.
In 2012 Mize release his second album Nobody in Nashville charted at 49 on the Billboard Top 100 and he’s played with Lady Antebellum, The Band Perry, Blake Shelton and other major names in country music. His second album Come Back Road was released in 2017.
On July 17, the Downtown Summer Jam goes full rock with Quaker City Night Hawks.
These Texans are live music legends and hit the stage with a mix of 70’s and Southern rock, according to a release.
On Aug. 21, Carter Winter takes to the stage. Winter has shared the stage with Sam Hunt, Chase Rice and Travis Tritt and recently completed his second studio album.
The Fourth of July Downtown Hootenanny will include a free concert from about 1-5 p.m., according to a release.
Smith broke onto the national scene with Remington, an album that garnered him the No. 1 smash “Backroad Song.” Smith was also awarded a BMI Country Award for writing, producing, publishing and performing “Backroad Song” and followed it with the Top 5 hit, “If The Boot Fits.” “Backroad Song” was one of the Top 10 Most Played country singles of 2016 according to Mediabase and has been certified platinum. He was nominated as Best New Country Artist for the 2017 iHeartRadio Awards and was included in the 2017 crop of artists honored during the CRS “New Faces” show.
The July 4 concert will shut down more than eight blocks downtown. Food and beverage will available through local vendors and sponsorship/donation opportunities are available.
