Two charged in Sept. 3 incident that caused schools to shelted in place, release with care
Tyler Manywhitehorses, 21, and Cruz Glenmore, 19, have each been charged with a felony count of assault with a weapon and a misdemeanor count of criminal mischief for a Sept. 3 incident.
According to court documents, Great Falls Police officers responded around 3:50 a.m. Sept. 3 to an assault report from the Crown Lounge rear parking lot at 1820 10th Ave. S.
During their investigation, officers learned there were three suspects, Manywhitehorses, Glenmore and Dorek Littlebird.

According to court documents, Manywhitehorses assaulted Jeffrey Dezort, 20, in a woman’s vehicle. Once the fight ended, the woman attempted to start her truck and leave the scene, but her truck wouldn’t start.
She told officers that when the suspects realized she was trying to leave, they pulled out handguns and pointed them at her.
She told officers that Glenmore was standing next to the driver’s side mirror with a black gun that had a blue laser.

Glenmore allegedly struck her windshield with his gun, causing it to shatter.
The woman was able to start her truck and the three suspects left in another vehicle that the woman followed in an attempt to get a license plate number, according to court documents.
Dezort pled guilty to felony criminal endangerment in June 2025 for his role in a January 2025 robbery, during which he was with Charles Jackson at the Holiday Casino on Central Avenue West when they assaulted a man whose wallet fell out and Dezort took the victim’s money, according to court records and statements made in court.
Teen sentenced to Pine Hills in plea agreement
Jackson was recently sentenced to Pine Hills until his 18th birthday on a collection of cases and has a pending case in the March 2026 downtown shooting.
A GFPD officer obtained security footage from a nearby business that showed Dezort appearing to throw a beverage at Glenmore’s vehicle and a beverage then appears to be thrown at Dezort, according to court documents.
Two occupants, believed to be Glenmore and Manywhitehorses, exit the passenger side of their vehicle and appear to strike the woman’s vehicle at the driver’s side door and at the driver’s side of the windshield and appears to have a firearm in his hand while doing so, according to court documents.

A blue flash, which investigators believe is a weapon-mounted laser, is visible in the security footage.
The person believed to be Manywhitehorses is seen striking the rear driver’s side window of the woman’s vehicle, according to court documents.
Later on Sept. 3, officers located Glenmore and Littlebird at 4101 Central Ave. as they exited Unit B111.
Manywhitehorses was subsequently detained at the same address, according to court documents.
While law enforcement was locating the three, area schools were placed into shelter in place and later East Middle and Lewis and Clark Elementary schools students were released with care.
In an interview with investigators, Littlebird said he was driving Glenmore’s vehicle, had a pistol and was intoxicated.
Glenmore admitted to having a pistol and damaging the woman’s vehicle in an interview with investigators. He also told investigators that all three men involved had pistols during the incident.
Glenmore and Manywhitehorses will make initial appearances in district court on Sept. 4.
Prosecutors requested $50,000 bond for Glenmore and Manywhitehorses and that they not have contact with each other or Littlebird, as well as they be enrolled in pre-trial monitoring, level one.
Manywhitehorses has a prior robbery charge from 2020 with an unknown disposition, according to court documents and pending charges for partner/family member assault and destruction of a communication device.
