Luminaria Walk is Aug. 21
The annual Luminaria Walk celebrates the world-class River’s Edge Trail in Great Falls.
This year’s walk is Aug. 21 from 7-11 p.m. and the route is bridge to bridge from Weissman/Central Avenue West bridge to the Arlene Reichert Community Heritage Bridge/10th Street along the southside of the river.
City approves contract for bridge deck replacement on River’s Edge Trail
The walk includes live music as you stroll along the trail decorated with more than 1,500 locally decorated luminarias.
The event is organized by the River’s Edge Trail Foundation and Great Falls Park and Recreation.
It’s a free, family-friendly event for the community.
Dogs are allowed but must be leashed.
E-bikes are also allowed, but due to the large number of people on this stretch of the trail, organizers ask that speeds be kept to a minimum.
