Two neighborhood councils meet April 20-23

Two Great Falls neighborhood councils meet this week.

Neighborhood Council 5 meets April 20 at 7 p.m. in the Great Falls Clinic Specialty Center conference room, 3000 15th Ave. S.

Agenda items include an update from Great Falls Fire Rescue; information on Russell Park clean-up at 9 a.m. May 9, weather permitting; Facebook discussion, Montana Department of Transportation study request letter, council business, updates and neighborhood concerns.

Neighborhood Council 4 meets at 6:30 p.m. April 23 at the Heritage Baptist Church, 900 52nd St. N.

Agenda items include an update from the Montana Department of Transportation, candidate introductions, discussion of a pet waste station at Pinski Park, homebuyers fair update, new projects quarterly update and neighborhood concerns.

Monthly agendas are posted on the Neighborhood Council meeting calendar at least 48 hours before the scheduled meeting.

In Great Falls, there are nine neighborhood councils. Their purpose is to serve the citizens by providing a direct link to city government within the neighborhoods. Each council is made up of five members elected by the voters in that council area. WebsiteFacebook
