Mexican man who was in U.S. illegally sentenced

A Mexican man who entered the U.S. illegally was sentenced Sept. 3 in federal court to a sentence of time served and remanded to U.S. Border Patrol upon release, U.S. Attorney Kurt Alme said. Second detention officer arrested on domestic violence charge

Two more Cascade County detention officers were arrested in August. Joshua Yellow Owl, a Cascade County Sheriff’s Office detention officer, was charged with misdemeanor counts of partner family member assault, causing injury, first offense; and tampering with a communication device.
