Neighborhood council meetings Oct. 1-2
Two Great Falls neighborhood councils meet this week.
Neighborhood Council 6 meets at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 1 in the Sunnyside Elementary School library.
Agenda items include a community update from Calumet, election law changes and updates from the Cascade County elections office, traffic concerns on 4th Street through 7th Street on 13th Avenue South from city public works, crime mapping report, council updates and neighborhood concerns.

Neighborhood Council 3 meets at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 2 in the Riverview Elementary School music room.
The meeting will also be streamed live on the council’s Facebook page.
Agenda items include: a discussion on traffic and speed limits on 36th Avenue Northeast, 9th Street Northeast, Skyline street design, a traffic light at 6th Street Northeast and Smelter Avenue from city public works; election law changes and updates from the Cascade County elections office; Skyline and Valley View park fundraising, Facebook updates, committee reports and neighborhood concerns.

In Great Falls, there are nine neighborhood councils. Their purpose is to serve the citizens by providing a direct link to city government within the neighborhoods. Each council is made up of five members elected by the voters in that council area. Website| Facebook
