Malmstrom AFB conducting exercise this week
The 341st Missile Wing at Malmstrom Air Force Base is conducting an exercise Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 to assess its response to a simulated incident.
“The community may experience delays at the gates, facility lockdowns and traffic detours on base. There may also be alarms, sirens, notifications and increased security measures,” according to Malmstrom public affairs.
The two-day exercise is an opportunity for multiple agencies to practice contingency operations, according to Malmstrom.
No further details as to the nature of the exercise have yet been released.
