MDT seeking public comment on updated stormwater management plan
The Montana Department of Transportation has updated its stormwater management program and is seeking public feedback on the revised document to help further protect water quality.
The current plan is available here.
MDT’s stormwater management program is intended to reduce the discharge of pollutants from transportation infrastructure into local surface waters. This program is planned to be refined throughout its implementation to further protect Montana’s waterways.
The public can review and provide comments for the draft program from June 30 through 3 p.m. July 30.
Comments and/or suggestions to improve other areas of the program listed above may be submitted online using the public comment form, to the following email address: mdtms4datamanager@mt.gov, or in writing to Montana Department of Transportation, Attention: Tom Gocksch, Environmental Engineering Section Supervisor at P.O. Box 201001, 2701 Prospect Avenue, Helena, MT 59620-1001.
