The Lewis and Clark Overlook parking area in Giant Springs State Park will be closed beginning July 14.

The parking lot is undergoing an asphalt repair project and the closure is expected to last from two to four weeks.

During the closure period, parking and trail access to the South Shore Trail network will be available at the Rainbow Overlook and 67th Street parking areas.

Trivia in the Park begins July 1 at 7 p.m. and runs Tuesdays throughout the month.

Gather a team of seven or less to enjoy a weekly night of competitive, random-category, family-friendly trivia presented by park staff.

Trivia nights will be hosted in the grassy area adjacent to the Giant Springs and prizes will be awarded to the top three scoring teams.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket, food, and drink to comfortably enjoy four rounds of trivia with 10 questions each.

Pre-registration is not required to participate.

All events are dependent on reasonable weather conditions.
