Great Falls hosted the 78th annual Montana East-West Shrine game at Memorial Stadium on June 21.
Great Falls players played for the East team and several cheerleaders were selected to cheer the sidelines.
From Great Falls High School:
- Broden Molen played as a defensive end
- Mason Kralj played as an outside linebacker
- Isaac Tolen played as a defensive tackle
- Schafer Garness played as a center
The East was also represented by GFH cheerleaders Brooklyn Griffin, Sevyn Hocevar, Peyton Noelani and Tahlia Murillo.
GFH’s Morgan Wasson represented the dance team.
From C. M. Russell, Brian Greenwell was a part of the coaching staff and Cole Hufford cheered on the sidelines.
There are two ambassadors this year: John RattlingTail and Bailey Lesofski.
The game has a long history.
For years, the game has been played to raise money for children to bring awareness to Shiner’s Children Hospital in Spokane. This game honors athletes from all classes around the state who are nominated by coaches and schools.
The game ended with a West win of 14-7 over East.
