Great Falls Park and Rec, River’s Edge Trail Foundation hosting summer 5K races
Great Falls Park and Recreation and the River’s Edge Trail Foundation are hosting three free 5K runs this summer.
The 5K Series will take place on three Wednesday evenings: June 25, July 30 and Aug. 20.
Those who run in at least two of the three races will receive a t-shirt courtesy of the River’s Edge Trail Foundation.
Each participant who signs in at a race will be entered into a drawing for gift cards from Scheels.
Race check-ins start at 6 p.m. and the runs will start at 6:30 p.m.
Times will not be kept.
Participants can run, walk, stroll and can bring their dogs as long as they are on a leash.
The June 25 run will be at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center at 4201 Giant Springs Road.
The July 30 run will be at at West Bank Park, starting at the Coach Brady statue.
The Aug. 20 run will be at Gibson Park/Elks Riverside with check-in at the bandshell.
