Jaycee Pool opens June 16; Water Tower Pool not opening due to staffing shortage

The Great Falls Park and Recreation was scheduled to open the Jaycee Pool today at 1p.m. for the season, but around noon Monday, city staff said due to a “last-minute mechanical issue it will not open today.”

The splash pad is open 1-5 p.m., according to the city.

The Jaycee Pool opens for the season June 16.

The pool will be open through Aug. 10 and the complex includes a double slide and spray park.

Jaycee is open 1-5:45 p.m. daily.

Fees for the pools/spray park are $4 for youth 3-17 and $6 for adults.

Jaycee Pool is located at 4th Street and 23rd Avenue Northeast.

Commissioners approve contract to finish splash pad project at water park [2024]

Pool rentals are available daily from 6-8 p.m. and can be made through the Scheels Aim High facility at 900 29th St. S., the Park and Recreation office at 1700 River Drive N., or online.

Water Tower Pool at 34th Street and 7th Avenue South will not be opening on June 16 due to a staffing shortage.

Those interested in becoming a lifeguard can apply online and the city provides a training class to all those hired.

Commission votes 3-2 to waive fees at new pool for military training

The Electric City Water Park opened for the season June 6 and will be open through Aug. 17.

The water park is open noon to 6 p.m. daily.

The flow rider is down for the 2025 season, according to Park and Rec.
