According to court documents, Great Falls Police officers were dispatched around 12:32 a.m. March 25 to the Stadium Sports Bar at 1121 5th St. S. for a report of a robbery.

An employee told officers she had just been robbed at gunpoint, was “very upset” and believed Boulduc had run west away from the bar.

The employee told officers, according to court documents, that a man had come into the casino and pointed a silver-colored pistol at her face and stated, “give me the money now.”

The employee told officers that she gave the man her keps and he instructed her to go behind the bar to open the safe.

She complied and handed the man the money deposit bag, according to court documents.

The employee told officers that she knew the suspect and believed he was involved with a recent arson next door.

The Great Falls fire marshall told The Electric that Boulduc was listed as a suspect in a shed fire in the trailer court behind the Stadium bar.

Dispatchers told officers that the arson suspect was Boulduc and the employee said she recognized his voice as he was a regular customer.

Boulduc took about $8,2000 in cash, according to court documents.

GFPD officers reviewed the security footage from the Holiday Inn, across the street from the bar, and saw that around 11:50 p.m. on March 24, a red passenger car entered the hotel parking lot. Around 12:27 a.m. on March 25, Boulduc exited in all black, walked around the southside of the hotel and entered the Stadium bar, exiting and running back to the hotel with what appeared to be a silver pistol and blue bank bag, then the red car leaving the hotel parking lot, according to charging documents.

Officers determined that Boulduc had recently purchased the red car, which they located, seized and searched with a search warrant, according to court documents.

In the vehicle, officers located a Steel Etc. receipt from March 25 and the company verified the receipt was for Boulduc.

Around 5:18 p.m. March 28, officers got a tip that Boulduc was at the River Boat Queen Casino. An officer arrived on scene and shortly afterward, Boulduc exited the casio and got into a 1979 Chevrolet Malibu, exiting the parking lot south on 9th Street South, according to court documents.

A GFPD officer initiated a traffic stop, but Boulduc did not yield to the officer’s lights and sirens, instead increasing speed, fleeing and running through three stop signs, according to court documents.

Another officer saw Boulduc increase his speed to 70 miles per hour in the 2700 and 33300 blocks of 13th Street South, where he also crossed the double yellow lines into oncoming traffic nearly causing a head-on collision, according to charging documents.

Boulduc increased his speed to 80 miles per hour while traveling east on 40th Avenue South and again veering into oncoming traffic, then increasing to 88 miles per hour going on to Upper River Road, according to court documents.

Boulduc was attempting to turn east onto Overlook Drive from Upper River Road around 5:43 p.m., where officers used their patrol vehicles to immobilize Boulduc’s, according to GFPD.

Boulduc repeatedly rammed his vehicle into several patrol vehicles trying to escape, was noncompliant with officer commands and wouldn’t show his hands to officers, saying “you’re going to have to shoot me,” while reaching into various parts of the vehicle, according to court documents.

Officers on scene used non-lethal tactics, including a taser, to take Boulduc into custory, according to the Cascade County Sheriff’s Office.

He was evaluated by medical staff on scene, and “per standard protocol following this type of incident, law enforcement officers transported the suspect to a local hospital to ensure fitness for incarceration. One GFPD officer sustained minor injuries and is receiving treatment at the same hospital,” according to GFPD.

Boulduc has convictions in North Dakota, Arizona and Minnesota. In North Dakota, he was convicted on two felony counts of burglary, two counts of theft, forgery, escape and reckless endangerment, with his probation revoked at least once, according to court documents.

In Minnesota, he was convicted for theft-accomplice, burglary-accomplice, check forgery, attempted third degree burglary, fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle, possession of shoplifting gear, possessing meth in school/park/public housing zone and threats of violence, according to charging documents.

Boulduc also has misdemeanor convictions, including fleeing police in North Dakota, at least one failure to appear and was listed as a fugitive in 2023, according to court documents.
