The Electric, GFPL, community groups hosting cold weather services discussion
Temperatures are dropping and winter weather is on the way.
Cold weather services will be starting as those temperatures drop.
The Electric has partnered with the Great Falls Public Library, United Way of Cascade County and the Great Falls Continuum of Care to host an open discussion on what’s provided for the unhoused during the colder weather.
The event is 6:30 p.m. Nov. 7 in the Cordingley Room in the library’s basement.
The event includes a panel of representatives from the Great Falls Rescue Mission, Alliance for Youth, Housed Great Falls, St. Vincent de Paul’s Angel Room and the library.
The discussion will be moderated by Jenn Rowell of The Electric and Sarah Cawley of the GFPL.
All community members are encouraged to join this discussion to learn more about services available as winter approaches.
An opportunity for community questions will be available at this program as well.
To submit questions in advance, email them to jenn@theelectricgf.com for consideration.
