The sixth annual mural festival returned to downtown Great Falls Aug. 17-24.
This year, the festival has shifted the name to Great Walls, presented by ArtsFest Montana.
This year’s festival installed nine new murals.

The festival is funded by the Great Falls Business Improvement District and curated by Cameron Moberg, a muralist and graffiti artist out of San Francisco, Calif.

Moberg has been painting in Great Falls since 2018 and has been curating the mural festival since it’s creation in 2019.
Nearly 50 murals have been installed so far downtown.
Moberg, an internationally known muralist, curates the festival, helping recruit local, national and international artists for the local mural festival.
Mural festival fostering conversation, connection [2023]
Moberg is always on the lookout for artists who will be a good fit for the Great Falls festival by watching their social media and having conversations with them to learn their artistic processes and character.
The muralists have artistic freedom on the walls for the festival, outside of some rules, and Moberg looks for artists who will build the Great Falls mural collection.
