Trivia at Giant Springs
Giant Springs State Park is continuing trivia Tuesdays in the park.
The trivia starts at 6 p.m. and teams can be seven or less for random-category, family-friendly trivia presented by park staff in the grassy area in front of the Giant Springs.
Bring a lawn chair or blanket, food and drink to comfortably enjoy four rounds of trivia presented with 10 questions each.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three scoring teams.
Registration is not required for this event and is weather dependent.
Winter hours at First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park
First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park switches to winter hours Sept. 16. From then through April 13, 2025 the visitor center and park entrance gates will be open Wednesday to Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sundays from 12-4 p.m., and closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, and holidays.
Walk-in access to the park is allowed until dark daily by parking outside the main entrance gate and also at the upper trailhead. The upper trailhead may be closed during deep snow events.

Fishing for Pumpkins
Ring in the change of seasons by attending Fishing for Pumpkins Festival at Giant Springs State Park.
This free event will be set up across the street in Heritage Park on Oct. 6 from noon to 3 p.m.
Enjoy music, food, and carnival style activities designed for kids ages 5-plus.
