Portion of 2nd Avenue North to close for paving
The city public works street division is closing a portion of 2nd Avenue North Sept. 16-18 for maintenance.
Crews are closing the 2nd Avenue North at 46th Street North to westbound traffic Sept. 16-18 to mill and overlay the street.
The city street division will provide barricades and detour signs in the area of construction to re-route traffic.

The city street division is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the streets and alleys within the City of Great Falls. The department has 20 full-time employees to maintain about 303 miles of street and 80 miles of alleys.
