2nd Avenue North remains closed at 46th Street for water main repair
The city public works utilities division closed 2nd Avenue North at 46th Street North to westbound traffic Sept. 2-3 to repair a water main and restore the asphalt.
The project has been delayed and 2nd Avenue North remains closed.
Repair parts have been ordered and expedited, according to public works. They’ll be installed as soon as they arrive and once the main repair is completed, the maintenance crew will restore the asphalt and open the road.

Area residents will experience water outages during the repairs, according to public works.
The utilities division is providing barricades and detour signs in the area to reroute traffic.
