City awards Flowrider repair contract

City Commissioners unanimously voted to award a contract during their Aug. 6 meeting to repair the Flowrider at the Electric City Water Park. Staff recommended that commissioners award a single-source contract to International Foam Pros for $128,900 to resurface the Flowrider. Moccasin retires from GFPD, takes new city role

Rob Moccasin is the city’s new neighborhood council liaison. Moccasin retired from the Great Falls Police Department on Aug. 2 and begins in his new role on Sept. 3. In the new role, Moccasin will be responsible for the management, direction and coordination of the city’s nine neighborhood councils and the Great Falls Citizen Council, or the Council of Councils.

City Commission approves TIF funds for Mansfield Theater projects

City approves parkland sale to Pasta Montana

City Commissioners unanimously approved the sale of land to Pasta Montana during their Aug. 6 meeting. Commissioners approved a 20-year lease for 5.222 acres within Veterans’ Memorial Park to Pasta Montana in July 1996, allowing the company to build a food manufacturing plant in Great Falls.
