July 4: photos, GFFR call stats
Matt Ehnes of Jared’s Detours captured some festive moments at the annual July 4 parade and events in downtown Great Falls.
Throughout the holiday, Great Falls Fire Rescue responded to 33 calls for service in a 24 hour period.
Of those calls, 17 came between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.
According to GFFR, the July 4 calls were:
- 17 medical calls, with one GFFR transport
- six dumpster fires
- two car fires
- two grass fires
- two lift assists
- one arson fire
- one fire caused by the city fireworks display
- one disturbance
- one welfare check
