GFPS approves milk, paper contracts
The Great Falls Public Schools approved two contracts during their May 13 meeting for milk and paper products.
The district’s food services division estimates needed quantities of milk products based on current and expected usages, which is then submitted to vendors who have requested the opportunity to bid on the items, enabling the district to get the best pricing, according to GFPS’ business operations office.
The district publicly advertised the call for bids in March.
Meadow Gold Dairy was the lowest bid at $167,761.50 for Aug. 1 through July 31, 2025.
The agreement may be renewed for up to two successive contract periods for a total of three years at GFPS’ discretion, according to district staff.
The Meadow Gold bid is below.

The district also approved agreements for instructional and office paper supplies.
The district tracks usage during the current year and combines those numbers with requests for the next fiscal year submitted by individual schools and departments.
The board approved the following agreements:
- Warden Paper: $38,906.59
- Pyramid Products: $13,348.62
- Cascade School Supplies: $602.55
