Montana State Fair adds more acts, including Starship, Foghat

The Montana State Fair announced two more acts this week that are coming to Great Falls for this year’s fair.

Starship and Foghat will play at 7:30 p.m. July 28 at the Pacific Steel and Recycling Four Seasons Area.

The Montana State Fair is July 26 through Aug. 3 at the Montana Expo Park.

Tickets go on sale 8 am. May 18 on the Montana Expo Park site.

They can also be purchased at the Four Seasons box office, which is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Tape Face comedy show is 4 p.m. Aug. 1.

The fair previously release the night concert lineup.

Bush is playing at 7:30 p.m. July 29.

Country music artists Trace Adkins returns to the fair at 7:30 p.m. July 30.

Ventriloquist and comedian Jeff Dunham takes the state at 9 p.m. Aug. 2.

Newsboys, a Christian rock band founded in Australia, plays at 9 p.m. Aug. 3 with special guest Jordan Janzen.

Downtown Summer Jam also returns this year with three concerts at the corner of Central Avenue and 5th Street.

Country artist Will Jones headlines the first concert in the series on June 19.

County songwriter Ella Langley takes the stage July 24.

The final concert on Aug. 21 features Bryan Martin.

Tickets are $20 for each concert or $50 for all three shows and can be purchased at The Newberry box office at 420 Central or online.

Rodney Atkins will play the Hootenany on July 4 downtown after the annual parade, which begins at 11 a.m.

The concert is free and the event shuts down multiple blocks downtown with the stage at the intersection of Central Avenue and 5th Street.
