Street sweeping May 6-9
The city public works department sweeps 286 street miles annually.
Residential streets are swept twice annually.
Collector and arterial streets are swept 10 times annually, according to the city.
Business district streets and avenues are cleaned when needed.
Residents are asked to keep the curb area in front of their properties free from obstacles and move vehicles on their scheduled day from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The street sweeping schedule may change or be canceled due to weather conditions.

Street sweeping requests can be made by calling 406-771-1401 and will be done as time permits.
The schedule for May 6-9 is below:
- May 6: All streets and avenues from 9th Street South to 20th Street South from 10th Avenue South to 17th Avenue South
- May 7: All streets and avenues from Upper River Road to 9th Street South from 10th Avenue South to 21st Avenue South; and 21st Avenue South from 9th Street South to 13th Street South
- May 8: All streets and avenues from Fox Farm Road to Treasure State Drive from Park Garden Road to Country Club Boulevard; and Belview Palisades
- May 9: All streets and avenues east of Fox Farm Road from Country Club Boulevard to Grizzly Drive; plus Market Place Drive and 14th Street Southwest
