The Electric is hosting it’s third News and Brews program on Feb. 27.

The program includes local reporters hanging out in some of our favorite watering holes where we’ll be available for an informal chat about who we are, how we do the news and the state of the local news industry.

Future programs will also include themes related to local news and guests.

The third News and Brews is Feb. 27 at 5:30 p.m. at Elevation 3330 with Jenn Rowell of The Electric and Tom Wylie of KRTV, among others.

We’ve also heard that Ryan Gamboa of KRTV will make an appearance.

Journalism is facing significant cuts nationwide, but we continue to believe it’s critical for a functioning democracy and we’re working to do our part in Great Falls.
