Great Falls College science fair needs more judges
The regional middle and high school science fairs at Great Falls College on March 5 still need more judges.
Charla Merja, science fair coordinator at the college, said they already have 176 student committed to the fair that day.
“We can use more help with judges. You do not need a science background to serve as a judge. It’s such a great way to meet and learn from some of the creative minds of our youth. They will blow you away with their projects,” Merja said in a release.
It’s also not too late for students to sign up for the middle school and high school fairs on March 5, or for the elementary fair at Great Falls College on March 7.
To sign up to judge, go to www.gfcmsu.edu/sciencefair/judges.html
Students can register until midnight on Feb. 29 at www.gfcmsu.edu/sciencefair.
Students from schools throughout northcentral Montana compete in the fairs, with top prize winners in the high school division earning a trip to Los Angeles later this spring for the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair.
