CCHD hosting flu shot clinics this month
The Cascade City-County Health Department is hosting flu shot clinics this month.
Adults age 18 and older can get their immunization from the comfort of their own vehicle at the Drive Through Flu Shot Clinic on Sept. 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Montana Expo Park. Whether you have a car, truck, four-wheeler, bike or moped this is an opportunity for people to literally drive through to prevent the flu.
Those who are 6 months and older can be vaccinated at the Community Walk-In Flu Shot Clinic on Sept. 24 from noon to 4:30 p.m. at Exhibition Hall at Montana ExpoPark.
This year, CCHD will be accepting all forms of payments, including insurance, at both clinics. Attendees are asked to bring their insurance cards. With most insurances there will be no cost. For other forms of payment, the cost of the flu shot is $30, excluding High-Dose vaccine.
CCHD encourages the community to get their flu shot from immunization experts through one of these easy and convenient clinics. Immunization staff working these clinics have received extensive training in proper vaccine storage and giving vaccinations safely, and High-Dose vaccine will be offered for those 50 and older.
