Sixth person arrested in connection with CCSO’s human trafficking operation
Cascade County Sheriff Jesse Slaughter said Wednesday afternoon that another arrest had been made in their human trafficking operation.
Slaughter said that Colleen Sue Lewis, aka Colleen Brown aka Colleen Counts, was arrested on a felony charge of promoting prostitution.
Five other people were arrested over the weekend on misdemeanor prostitution charges as part of what Slaughter has called a human trafficking operation conducted by multiple law enforcement agencies.

Lewis, 55, is charged under state law because she allegedly purposely or knowingly owned, controlled, managed, supervised, resided in, or otherwise kept, alone or in association with others, a house of prostitution or a prostitution business.
Under state law, a person convicted of promoting prostitution can be fined up to $50,000 or be imprisoned in a state prison for up to 10 years, or both.
According to a release from Slaughter, after Terry McCann was arrested over the weekend based on an ad she had placed on CityXGuide.com that read, “In or out call…I can be exciting like a ride or help u relax after the fair. Hour for price of half hour.”
According to Slaughter, McCann told investigators that the Touch of Klass was a “hoe shop” and that she and two other women worked there. She and the others kept a schedule and gave a portion of the money they earned to Lewis, the owner of Touch of Klass.
McCann told investigators, according to Slaughter’s release, that the business charged a $40 fee per visit, on top of the normal rates and a $60 fee for out calls. McCann told investigators that Lewis took over the business after her sister left.
Deputies executed a search warrant at Touch of Klass and recovered a number of items, including prices and schedules documenting visits by various “Johns” and the amounts charged, according to Slaughter’s release.
Lewis was arrested July 30 by Internet Crimes Against Children detectives, Slaughter said.
Slaughter said in his release that Lewis voluntarily waived her Miranda rights and during an interview with a detective, admitted to conducting business via cell phone with McCann and another co-conspirator who had been working at Touch of Klass for about eight months, and also used Facebook Messenger on that cell phone.
Slaughter said that Lewis admitted to running the massage parlor since 2007 and she estimated she had made more than $10,000 in profits from the business, which she told detectives she knew was used for prostitution.
Detectives examined her Facebook account and found it had been created in 2013, according to Slaughter’s release.
