City of Great Falls offices including the animal shelter, Community Recreation Center and library will be closed July 4, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.

There will be no changes to the residential or commercial sanitation collection schedule.

For those looking to beat the heat over the holiday, the neighborhood pools, Jaycee and Water Tower, will be open from 1-5:45 p.m. and the Electric City Water Park will be open from 12-6 p.m.

Both city golf courses will also be open. Call Anaconda Hills at 761-8459 or Eagle Falls at 761-1078 to schedule tee times.

Gates open for check-in at 6:30 a.m. and courses and ranges open at 7 a.m. Tee times can be made up to two days in advance.

The city’s online services, including online utility bill pay and the Mansfield Box Office, will be available to the public over the holiday and can be accessed on the city website.
