Downtown Night Market returns Friday

The Night Market is back on Friday night.

The event takes over the 300-400 blocks of Central Avenue from 5-8 p.m. May 24.

Craft and art vendors will be set up on Central, with live music, art demonstrations and drinks.

The event is hosted by the Downtown Great Falls Association and 24 vendors registered for the event.

Joel Corda will be performing and Gusto Distributing is providing beverages.

DGFA first held the night market last August and brought it back this year. They’re also planning another event on Aug. 23.

Kellie Pierce, DGFA director, told the Downtown Development Partnership earlier this week that no food vendors were available to participate in the event this year, but many restaurants are open downtown in the area around the market.

Pierce said the local Building Active Communities Initiative group would be doing art demonstrations during the event at 5th Street and Central Avenue.

Other upcoming events downtown include:

June 1: opening day of the Farmers Market

June 2: Craft Beer Week kicks off

June 8: Montana Brew Fest

June 19: Logan Mize at Downtown Summer Jam

June 27: Music on the Mo
