Bridger Steel closes in Great Falls

Bridger Steel closed its Great Falls location last week.

The company is relocating assets from Great Falls to Billings, according to a statement from Bridger Steel.

The company’s expansion in Billings allowed for state-of-the-art equipment to be brought in to increase our production capacity and decrease lead times, according to the statement.

Bridger Steel’s newest location in Washington put it next to partners that provide better inventory support and other locations have recently been updated to handle higher volumes in shorter timeframes, according to the statement.

The company was located off the I-15 frontage road between Manchester and Vaughn.

“As part of our growth and refinement, we have introduced a number of manufacturing upgrades to our newly expanded Billings manufacturing location, alongside upgrades to our Belgrade facility. With the improved capabilities of our new and existing facilities in place for 2019, we will be relocating our Great Falls operations to these modern manufacturing facilities, improving performance and turn-around times to our customers across the Hi-Line and beyond,” according to Bridger Steel’s statement.
