Lower River Road will close next week between Overlook Drive and 55th Avenue South while United Materials completes excavation and gravel improvements.

The road will be closed to through traffic beginning Nov. 26, for about two weeks, weather depending, and a detour will be provided via 13th Street South. Local access will be maintained.

All areas of construction will be candled off and barricaded for safety purposes.
