Open burning has reopened in Cascade County, with a burn permit.

As of 1:54 p.m. Aug. 27, the Cascade County Rural Fire Council lifted the burn ban.

Camp fires that are less than 48 inches in diameter do not require a burn permit and are currently allowed in Cascade County.
