Aaron’s has moved from Smelter to building in front of North 40 on 10th Avenue

Aaron’s has moved from their location on Smelter Avenue to 4300 10th Ave. S. in front of North 40 Outfitters.

The new location is open as of today, Aug. 7, and the move happened virtually overnight.

Darren Bryce with the local Aaron’s store said the new showroom and warehouse spaces are larger and they’re planning to offer a wider selection of items since they have more space than they did at the Smelter site.

Bryce said most of the furniture and appliance stores are concentrated toward the west side of town so they’re hoping the new location will offer a better option for east side residents.

“We think it’s going to be great,” Bryce said.

David Lyons, the franchise owner, was in Great Falls today helping with the move and said he’s leasing the building, like he leased the Smelter Avenue site for about 11 years.

He owns three Aaron’s stores in Montana and one in Idaho.

Based on traffic and city growth, “we think this is probably a better location,” Lyons said of the new site.

The Smelter Avenue store is now closed.
