Flood cleanup events planned for Friday in Vaughn, Sun River
The Cascade City-County Health Department is hosting flood cleanup events on Friday.
CCHD sanitarians will be available to answer questions about contaminated wells, septic systems and mold after a flood. Well water test kits will be available.
CCHD public health nurses will be giving tetanus vaccinations at no-cost for emergency responders and residents directly affected by the flood.
The Salvation Army will also be available to help with additional resources.
The event will be 9-10 a.m. at the Vaughn Volunteer Fire Department and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sun River LDS Church.
