The dealership is hosting a car show on June 9 with the Treasure State Mustang Club.

Registration is 9-11 a.m. and it’s $10 and a canned food item for the first vehicle, and a can of food for each additional vehicle.

The show starts at 11 a.m. and it’s free, but spectators are encouraged to bring a can of food or jar of peanut butter for the food bank.

It’s the third annual peanut butter drive for Bison Ford and the event raised 430 pounds in 2016 and 466 pounds in 2017.

According to drive organizers, peanut butter is a good item for food banks since it doesn’t require refrigeration, youngsters typically like it and it’s high in protein. The food bank always has bread, so with the peanut butter, it’s a quick and easy meal for families.
