Media management, co-working space opening soon downtown

After six years in business, Speaking Socially is opening an office in downtown Great Falls.
It’s been about a year of working through details but the space at 509 1st Ave. N. is almost complete.
Jason Kunz, owner of Speaking Socially, bought the space within three days of it going on the market and is transforming the space that once housed a bakery in the 1920s.
He’s moving his small staff into the building, but also creating a co-working space, particularly with creatives in mind, but it’s open to anyone.
“I knew I wanted to do something downtown, I just didn’t know what,” Kunz said. “I wanted to do something different. I think this is definitely out of the box.”
Since the majority of his clients are downtown businesses, Kunz said that when it came to opening a physical space, he knew he wanted to be downtown.
Great Harvest was his first client and now Speaking Socially is next door to the bakery, through Kunz’ original client sold the business.
The new space on 1st Avenue North is on the National Register of Historic Places and Kunz is working to keep some of those elements like the dumbwaiter and interior concrete walls. The historic status has dictated some of the renovation, but Kunz is hoping to spark life into the space with a vibrant, fun co-working space.
Speaking Socially offers website design/management, social media management, mobile apps, YouTube commercials, 3D tours/mockups of homes and more.
Anyone interested in renting a space at Kunz’s co-working office can reach Kunz at jason@speakingsocially.com.
