Utility work for the Sleep Inn and Mainstay Hotel requires a traffic detour near the intersection of Fox Farm Road and Country Club Boulevard/10th Avenue South.

The detour begins May 1 for about a week and motorists using the northbound lanes of Fox Farm Road near the intersection should plan extra time for delays. Access to local businesses will be maintained, according to the city.

The City of Great Falls has contracted with Central Excavation for the installation of a storm drain line along 19th Street South between 11th Avenue South and 13th Avenue South.  The contractor began installing the storm drain last week and the work is expected to last until May 25.

During these six weeks, 19th Street South will be closed south of 11th Avenue South up to the intersection with 13th Avenue South. The contractor will provide barricades and detour signs in the area of construction for traffic routing.
