Brig. Gen. Tom Wilcox, former commander at Malmstrom Air Force Base, has been assigned as director for operations and communications at Air Force Global Strike Command.

Wilcox is currently the director for strategic plans, programs and requirements at AFGSC.

Wilcox was commander of the 341st Missile Wing at Malmstrom from March 2014 to April 2016. Wilcox assumed command at the 341st in the wake of the cheating investigation and pinned on his first star in May 2017.

Malmstrom’s current commander, Col. Ron Allen has been confirmed for his first star. His next assignment has not been publicly released yet.
