Wheat Ridge postponed to March planning board meeting

Update: The Wheat Ridge project has been moved to The March 27 planning board meeting.
The Wheat Ridge annexation and zoning has been pulled from Tuesday’s planning board agenda at the request of the developer.
The project is now scheduled for the March 27 planning board meeting.
The Holman property subdivision request remains on the agenda.

The Wheat Ridge request, as currently submitted, includes annexing 20.98 acres behind the east side Walmart to develop 37 single family lots and three mixed use lots.
City staff are recommending denial based on concerns about public safety resources, stormwater and compatibility with operations at Malmstrom Air Force Base.
