Great Falls Rising meeting features speaker on state, federal budgets

Great Falls Rising is meeting Feb. 27 at 6:30 p.m. and their speaker is Heather O’Loughlin of the Montana Budget and Policy Center, a nonpartisan, nonprofit research organization.

The meeting is at Incarnation Episcopal Church, 600 3rd Ave. N., and the south side door will be open at 6 p.m. for people to come early to mix and mingle.

O’Loughlin spoke to the group about the state budget last fall and on Tuesday will be speaking about state and federal budgets.

 

O’Loughlin previously served as the legislative director for Senator Max Baucus.

The Great Falls native now lives in Helena and was recently elected to the City Commission there.
