City Commissioners appointed three people to the newly established ethics committee during their Jan. 2 meeting.

The appointees are Carl Rostad for a three-year term; Carmen Roberts for a two-year term; and Katrina Stark for a one-year term.

Commissioner Mary Sheehy Moe said she was impressed with the caliber of the applicants and made her motion based on their experience with public administration, governmental operation, political practices or legal practice.

The commission approved the appointments 5-0.

No one from the public commented on the applicants or the commission’s selections for appointments.
