Need some holiday gifts? Local shops have you covered.

Christmas is sneaking up on us fast here at The Electric, and if you’re anything like us, you haven’t quite finished your holiday gift shopping yet.

But the Great Falls area is full of local shops that can help and we asked a bunch if they had any gift ideas they’d like to share. A few of them got back to us and you can find those items and some deals listed below. We’ll do this again next year in an effort to highlight local business and hopefully The Electric’s holiday gift guide will grow each year.

Are you a local business that would like to be included, or know someone who would be? Let us know at jenn@theelectricgf.com.

HOMETANA

“Hometana is a collection of Montana apparel made with pure devotion to the last best place. We focus on high quality t-shirts and hats designed to fit perfectly and last long. Hometana is fast becoming a state icon born from a Freudian slip we can all relate to. Our brand connects Montana natives and transplants alike with the goal of proclaiming our infatuation with all things Montana. People ask us how we came up with the name Hometana – truth is, we didn’t, the kids did! My husband and I use to teach in Alaska during the school year then travel home to Montana for holidays and summers. During our last year teaching in Alaska, Khasia, called her Grandma in Montana and said, “Only 10 more sleeps until we go to Hometana.” And there you have it.”

The company was established this year and their items range from $15 to $40 with free shipping on everything.

You can find Hometana online at http://www.hometana.com; on Facebook and Instagram or by email at @hometanamt@gmail.com.

Use promo code “electric” at checkout and receive $10 off your order of $100 or more. Ends 12.31.17.

Dragonfly Dry Goods

“In every creative venture–whether it’s starting a new business, daring to make art or to write that novel, or simply daring to love one another–we can live like dragonflies, beautifully, powerfully, slowly, making the most of each moment even amid the dramatic changes that life usually holds for each of us. The idea for Dragonfly Dry Goods came to Alison one weekend in 1998 and opened just six weeks later. Today it is Montana’s largest specialty store, a place where people come to find the beautiful and the unusual, and to be inspired to see their own dreams go from idea to reality.

At Dragonfly Dry Goods you’ll find a uniquely curated shopping experience, which, like the dragonfly herself, changes each time you take a second look. You’ll find beautiful things to delight all of your senses and transform your home. You’ll find clothing that reveals your inner beauty and helps you move with grace. You’ll find that perfect gift. You’ll be amazed at the diversity you’ll find here–items from all over the world as well as ones that celebrate the magnificent beauty of Montana–our own six thousand varieties of lovely.”

Dragonfly Dry Goods has Great Falls and Bozeman locations with $5 and $10 items for your holiday lists this year.  Shop in Great Falls at 504 Central Ave. or in Bozeman at 867 South 29th Ave., Suite 108.
